Lesson learned...caution when naming a dog...

Postby JJ » Mon Oct 13, 2008 3:38 pm

Note to self: Next dog is to be CAREFULLY named.

Jumpin' Jambalaya...takes his name as his job apparently. I know I know...tis all my fault...

Walking up the stairs ( note to self...next house...one floor only)....Jamba races to the top to beat me. He is there anxiously awaiting me to go to the laundry room so he can play in the clean sheets from the dryer....I get to the top stair and JUMP-CRASH---his open mouth and most likely tooth-- collide with my chin. Now I am sporting a lovely lump and red mark that is already PURPLE and still sore...

T came home and promptly let me know...EW GROSS THAT IS BAD....gee thanks...I needed that.

oh...why did I let Jumpin' be part of his name...is it too late to rethink this one???

He probably would have been the same no matter what- Hank just did the same thing to my nose a few weeks ago when we were playing and he has nothing about jumping in his name.

My dog is Upsy Daisy. Fits her, whether I like it or not. Funny thing is that when I was naming her I was deciding between 2 names. Upsy Daisy and Whoops A Daisy. I decided that whoops a daisy could get us in too much trouble if she lived up to her name.

Well I said I'm going to name my next dog "Highintrial" or maybe just "HIT" for short.

I try not to complain about IMpulse's antics...what did I think I'd get with a dog with Impulse for a name and "Leap Before Ewe Look" as a reg'd name...

My girl is named Alfie cause we are bad at naming dogs. Wish I had given it more thought and named her a BC type name like Kate or Ally. N

Yeah, but there are a zillion Kate and Allys and only one Alfie that I know of.

David says we should name our next dog Brenda (?!?) I'm thinking probably not.

Right again Anne. She is such a cutie too. Don't we all think our dogs are the best even if they aren't. She just looks at me and I melt. Guess that's why she is so spoiled. Just wished we had picked a more girl like name (even if she is a tom boy). N

Growing up I had that toy robot computer thing named Alphie. I sooo wanted my grandmother to name her dog that. She chose Benji instead.

all I know is we have a hyperactive Ziggy, and a way mellow Marley....the alpha and the omega, all correlating to a zen-like drug induced calm.....oh yeah, about 30% of the time........we have plenty of scars to display the relative doggy emotions.... 8)
