Suzie's nickname is Suziefuzzrocket... but that came after her bouncy trouncy lovable personality evolved. She gets so enthusiastic still at 9.5 y.o. that she comes rocketing at me and bounces off my stomach in a swimmer's turn. She's also done that straight up leap to kiss my face, usually leaving a bruise with her nose...

OMG! I should have learned my lesson years ago with a Taz (as in tazmanian devil), his cartoon son, Dizzy (Dizzy Devil)...they were both HARD, HYPER dogs to live with!!! Then we have Ms. Gabby...who I threaten to debark with my bare hands everyday! LOL

New puppy will have a nice, calm name...something meaning walks quietly in the night.

Yeah...something super quiet and stealth...LOL Gabby is such a great girl, but man..she is L O U D and S C R E A M S in octaves that should never be heard by a human. Like EVER! So nothing remotely close to anything that would speak out loud. hehe!

Now..when you say Gabby Goo (as in oowie goowie) she sings. Smiles

Ugh, Turner's brother did this to me back in the summer. And unfortunatly his one foot landed directly on one of my incision scars from my appendectomy. it was a lovely shade of black and hurt for a few weeks...even though the sx was over a year ago! Just a weak spot I guess... I now greet him with a knee up or a "GUNNY OFF!" and no more feet in guts. Impulse does the same thing, but is smaller, therefore hits knees.

Ouch! That brings back an unpleasant memory of the greeting Becky gave me after I got home from the hospital and having David (C-section) and she did that foot bounce thing right off my incision. I think I scared the whole neighborhood with my shriek- luckily I wasn't holding baby David at the time.

And I can't even imagine how much that hurt Anne! I know how much a one year old scar hurt when a dog rebounded off it...I can't imagine a 3 day fresh incision! Holy OW!

My pastors dog jumped up on his knee this week, and broke it. Joy does the swimmers turn off your leg when excited, I told my husband better be careful, you may end up with a broken leg. It was just how the dog landed and pushed, but now he may need surgery, is in a leg brace for 2 weeks to see if it starts healing on its own...yikes

Next one will have Rebel in his name if I get a male. Cleo is short for Cleopatra and I was thinking a regal princess that had a great air about her. Nope, none of that for Cleo. She is more of a tom boy who will eat anything living or dead. Nothing lady like about her! Laz was named after his dad but it does rhyme with Taz and he certainly does act like Taz when he does agility.

As far as barking goes, our lab/beagle mix has the most God awful bark when she sees a deer. She has this half beagle/half lab scream tht sends chills up your spine. Our neighbor called one day because he heard her and thought some wild animal had killed one of our dogs. When I tried to tell him that nope it was just Heidi acting like a fool, he said that he was sure it wasn't a dog because it made his hair stand up on the back of his neck. I told him I would call him the next time that a deer came in the yard so he could here it for himself!

Hmm... Do I remember correctly that one of Bella's pups ended up with your pastor's family?
