Oh yeah, his name is Little Bear and you can see his cute face on the available Aussies page at http://members.aol.com/arphinc/midatlantic.html... scroll way down. I personally am madly in love with Blackjack, but Vladi says NO WAY am I bringing another dog into his house.

Hi! I'm a brand spankin' new Aussie owner and lover.

My name is Erika and this is Snow.

She stumbled up to our door a couple nights before the New Year and she was limping, I thought she was hurt so my husband and I, of course, brought her inside immediately. She had mats and brambles in her fur so badly that she could barely walk and icicles on her hind quarters.
We called the town marshal and she was registered to a man who lived out of town and across a highway and promptly returned. The town marshal came back to our door letting us know the owner wanted our contact information in case they wanted to re-home her. :-k This set off all sorts of flags in our minds.
She was potty trained, smart, loving, loyal and DID NOT run away from our house. Every time we let her out she came right back to the door. The only thing questionable was her jumping and playing rough. She didn't even mess with our cat. Why would someone not want her?
New Years Eve came and so did a visitor at our door, Snow. The owner called and told us she was ours if we wanted her. She is a pure bred 2 and a half year old, fixed, up to date on shots and been through obedience class. The man has three boys and they travel often. She barely got any attention and WAS KEPT IN A GARAGE MOST OF HER ADULT LIFE. ](*,)
So OF COURSE we took her. She has been perfect! I couldn't imagine a better dog and I've owned labs, bichons, huskies, and catahulas. I'm an Aussie woman now and forever.

Please be patient with me as I'm a new Aussie mom and will have many questions. If I ask something that should be common sense, please be kind, I'm learning. I hope to get to know you all and hear all about your wonderful dogs too!
